Halo 2 is an action-packed shooter, where players are primarily interacting with the game from a first person perspective. The game requires players to use both human and alien weapons and vehicles to advance through its levels. Players are not shown their health bar, instead, they have a shield that absorbs damage and regenerates whenever not under fire.
