PC owners can download Star Wars: Battlefront 2 at no cost, free to keep for the rest of your life
Computer gamers can now include the classic Star Wars Battlefront 2 in their library at no extra cost, however, the game won’t be around forever.
It’s part of Amazon Prime Gaming’s newest offering that allows users to download diverse titles to their computer each month, at no cost similar to PlayStation Plus and Xbox Game Pass.

Apart from Star Wars Battlefront 2, players will also be able to buy Weird West Definitive Edition (EGS), Genesis Noir, Everdream Valley, Mythforce (EGS), Blast Brigade vs. the Evil Legion of Dr. Cread (GOG) as well as Projection: First Light to their libraries.
It’s important to note that the copy available of Star Wars Battlefront 2 on sale is the original version, not the new one that sparked excitement but then completely disappointed them when it launched.
One way to describe it is as the taste of espresso soaked by battery acid when the euphoria that accompanied the start of the game quickly dissipated once you realized what a shambles condition it was in.
A series of upgrades and patches has been able to keep the game running smoothly however, judging by the number of players, a lot of the damage has been done and is effectively ending the game.
Although the original model Amazon Prime Gaming is giving away doesn’t include online multiplayer. However, the single-player can be played and is still worthy of replaying. Plus, it’s still possible to join online fights. You’ll fight bots rather than players.
Don’t pass up the chance to get Star Wars Battlefront 2 Classic into your library of PC games, because it’s unlikely to be for long, and it’s a fantastic option to get over the horrible remake.
