Sonic the Hedgehog amazed everyone when the first trilogy sped onto the Sega Genesis and Megadrive consoles back in the’90s. Regrettably after that boom period, the video game background of Sonic was hit and miss at best.
Sure there were some great games that are Sonic, but over the years we have been treated with a lot of duds. It looks like Sonic is trendy to Sonic Mania this past year’s launch and Sonic Mania Plus this season.
Sega has announced that Sonic Mania Plus is your highest rated game in the last 25 years. The official Sonic the Hedgehog Twitter page announced the following:”Having a 90 Metascore on Nintendo Switch, Sonic Mania Plus has become the highest-rated Sonic game in 25 decades. Thanks for being there with us, every step of the way.”
Sonic Mania is sure to put a grin and is a good game. It is far better than the newly published Sonic Forces which came out.
