Need for Speed: ProStreet, the eleventh installment in the Need for Speed series, is a racing game. Need for Speed: ProStreet is a new direction in the series’ gameplay. ProStreet’s racing takes place only on closed tracks. This makes ProStreet one of the few games in the series that doesn’t allow illegal racing to take place since Need for Speed II.
The performance tuning feature has been improved over previous versions, particularly Autosculpt. This is unlike Carbon, which can only be used for certain body types. It can be applied to any body kit, even stock bumpers or wide-bodied kits. Autosculpt allows for some modifications to the car’s aerodynamics. ProStreet offers four game modes: Drag (a point-to-point race on a drag strip), Grip (similarly to Circuit races, but with four types of Grip races), Speed (similarly to a Sprint race), and Drift.
