Close Combat: A Bridge Too Far (or Close Combat II) is a World War II computer wargame. It was released by Atomic Games on September 30, 1997. Combat is played on a 2-D map that includes three-dimensional terrain elements.
The terrain features may include hills, hedges and foxholes as well as streams and buildings. Units are limited in their vision, especially vehicles, and can be suppressed if they feel too weak. They also have limited ammunition and will often flee if they lose their morale.
