The latest All-Star Brawl patch notes – Not yet available on consoles but now for PC

Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl was out for exactly one month before this update arrived to PC. It has been almost a week since the last update was released on PC. There is no word yet whether it will be made available to Switch, PlayStation, or Xbox consoles. After it was released on PC, the last update took 4 days and 6 days for Xbox to reach PlayStation. We should expect to see the patch soon to consoles.

What changes can we expect when it finally comes? Let’s take another look.

Nickelodeon All-Star-Brawl patch note — Nov 2021

General fixes

First, you will likely notice a change to the character select screen. This is done to group multiple characters from the same series together.

Private matches were affected by an issue in which players could not join even if they used the correct code. Private lobby IDs can now be hidden but toggled on.

Changes in character balance

Both Patrick Loud and Lincoln Loud received major overhauls. However, some minor changes have been made to Korra and Reptar, as well as Powdered Toast Man.

Patrick

Patrick’s Strong Dash, (Spinning Lariat), has had its hitbox start frame reduced due to it being missing hit boxes. The same applies to Patrick’s Neutral Special, Star Slam, start frame.

Patrick will now grab the edge when falling during Strong Down Air (Cone Crash). The charge time for Strong Down Air has been decreased.

Patrick’s Light Dash (Star Wheel), has had his combat significantly nerfed. Knockback was reduced from 120 to 90.

For more information on Patrick’s moveset, see the patch notes.

Lincoln Loud

Several hitboxes were missing from Lincoln Loud’s character during certain moves. This problem has been corrected with the addition of a few hitboxes.

  • Hitbox has added Hitbox to the yoyo string in his Light Neutral (Yoyo Jab).
  • Hitbox has added to the yoyo string of his Light Neutral Loop
  • Hitbox has added to the yoyo string of his Light Up (Yoyo Swing).
  • Hitbox has added to the yoyo string of his Light Down (Watch The Dog)
  • Hitbox has added a yoyo string to his Light Down Loop
  • Hitbox was added to the yoyo string in his Light Neutral (Aerial Yoyo jab)
  • Hitbox has added to the yoyo string in his Light Up Air (Aerial Yayo Swing).
  • Hitbox has added to the yoyo string in his Light Down Air (Yoyo Toss Down)

During his Strong Down Air (VR Slash), a hit box was also added to Lincoln’s sword hilt.

Only for PC

Some keyboard buttons in the PC Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl UI had incorrect images. This has been corrected. You can remap keyboard directional buttons by going to controls menu.
