Niantic hosts the first Pikmin Bloom Community event

Pikmin Bloom is only two weeks old, but Niantic’s AR experience means that they are already ready for the first ever Community Day.
On November 13, the Community Day will be held and offer a variety of in-game bonuses. Niantic is the developer of Pokemon Go and other AR-based games like Harry Potter: Wizards Unite. We all hope that Pikmin Bloom does not suffer the same fate. Participating in Community Day may help!
Pikmin Bloom Community Day Bonuses
Niantic made the announcement on November 11, 2021. It also announced the full benefits we can expect starting with the first Community Day.
Increased seedling growth speed
First, seeds planted in any of the planter slots will grow 50% quicker than normal, so take advantage of this opportunity to grow as many Pikmins as you can during the event. For the bonus to be awarded, the seedling must be planted within the event hours. You might also want to empty your slots before Community Day starts.
Double nectar
Your Pikmin will produce twice as much nectar from any fruit they collect, whether it is from you or from Expedition. Keep any fruit your Pikmin bring to you before the event starts, and save it for Community Day.
Community Day Participant badge
We recommend that you wear comfortable shoes during this event. The next reward will only be given to those who have walked at least 10,000 steps in the time period. You will be awarded a Community Day Participant badge if you reach this milestone by November 13, 2021. According to the official news post, you should not expect to get the reward immediately. Don’t be alarmed if you don’t. You will instead need to log into Pikmin Bloom at minimum once during the two-week period that follows the event.
Giant Pansies
You can make sure that any Big Flowers that grow from your Community Day walks, as well as your Bloom players’ efforts, will become pansies by planting them regularly. You can then plant pansies along your travels to make sure that any Big Flowers that blossom from them turn into another rare Big Flower type.
What day is Pikmin Bloom Community Day, when?
Pikmin Bloom Community Day is scheduled for November 13, 2021. It will begin at 9am local and last for nine hours. It will end at 6pm local.
