Blizzard announced recently that the Mage Tower would remain for two more weeks and will be removed after maintenance on January 4.

Initially, it was thought to be only the Mage Tower. However, Blizzard has confirmed that all Legion Timewalking will be available in the new year. This includes normal LFG dungeons and Legion Mythic+ and weekly quest rewards.

“The Legion Timewalking Event is available throughout December, in addition to the original two weeks. Other weekly events will continue as usual. Blizzard stated this in the Legion Timewalking post.

If TBC Timewalking cannot be moved, the second two weeks will continue alongside the World Quest and Burning Crusade Timewalking events.

Legion Timwalking has something for everyone. Mythic+ players have access to a new set of Dungeons that spice up the experience. There are also transmog and mounts available from Dungeons. A reputation is also an option. The Mage Tower is a challenging challenge that players are enjoying.

The time walking ability hasn’t been as long since Warlords Of Draenor ended and has changed slightly since then. We are not sure if the quest to complete five dungeons per week that reward a piece of normal Sanctum or Domination gear each week can be completed, but we expect it will reset every week.

If players wish to collect items from another Timewalking set, they can use this opportunity to farm Timewarped Badges.

Overall, it’s a fantastic decision by Blizzard. Players hope that they can see the success of time walking. This is especially true after players pleaded with Blizzard just a few months back to make Timewalking a weekly rotation.
