Final Fantasy XIV Officially Has-Its Wine Success

People seem to enjoy this Final Fantasy XIV video game. We’re going a little crazy and toasting the occasion with a toast. Square Enix sells Final Fantasy XIV wine. It was a thing. But it sold out almost immediately after it appeared. We’re all used to waiting, Final Fantasy XIV enthusiasts.

Reaper-flavored wine also comes in a bottle. It’s described as having the flavor of cherries, dark chocolate and cloves as well as roasted figs. However, the bottle’s front has the Reaper job. So it’s Reaper-flavored. Square Enix will host a collector’s red as part of a partnership with Japanese department store chain Isetan. There are many other goodies that you can enjoy, but the Reaper wine remains my favorite. Square Enix is asking for just over $100, which I am told isn’t bad for alcohol. However, my favorite special occasion wine comes in an $8 box, and tastes just a little better than nail polish.

Reaper wine might not be within my budget, but it doesn’t seem that matters for now as it’s no longer in stock at Isetan. Square Enix claims they will drop the wine into their eshop to give another chance at a Endwalker toast December 24. The situation is still disappointing if you are not Japanese and live in Japan. It seems that they only offer the drink through their Japanese store. We can admire it for now.

My new low is absolutely fascinating. I tried to change from Girl Who Purchases A Reborn Collector’s Edition into Girl Who Purchases $100 MMO Wine. Although I don’t think it’s surprising that bizarre game collaborations are common anymore, I would like to tell my 2013 self that I am chasing FFXIV wine through internet auctions in the years of a huge Hydaelyn/Zodiark showdown.

Endwalker can be enjoyed, no matter what your viewpoint. One could toast the end of a decade-long story written by Natsuko Ichihikawa or take a sip following an encounter with Error 02. It was money well spent. I will just be content with my in-game bottle Realm Reborn Red.
