Final Fantasy XIV Maintenence – 8 hours of downtime
Yesterday we reported that the 6.01 Patch for Endwalker arrived today. We also announced that the first Raid will arrive today. There will be a long period of downtime. Let’s see when we can expect to return to the game.
Final Fantasy XIV Server Status
Final Fantasy XIV servers are down for eight hours today (all going well), so any attempt to access them during that period will be met with a stiff door. You might think that eight hours is the longest wait time for the game. We wouldn’t go so bold.

The game will be offline for approximately eight hours during the maintenance update. You can view the server status on the Endwalker page.
When will Final Fantasy XOV come back online?
According to their hopes, the devs will have completed maintenance by then.

Final Fantasy XIV Patch 6.01 Notes
The full patch notes were released to give an idea of what we can expect when the game comes back online. However, some choice tidbits have been included.
- New raid dungeon Pandaemonium has been added: Asphodelos
Raid rewards
The Treasure Coffers will appear after completing Pandaemonium. Asphodel won’t yield gear but tokens that can be traded for the gear you choose. Each week, you can only get one token from Pandaemonium: Asphodel. You forfeit your right to compete for any tokens not on the loot table if you receive a token.
You should also note that Pandaemonium is open to all, except for Asphodel.
* The Tuesday midnight (PST) resets the reward eligibility.
