Get ready – PlayStation Plus freebie time has finally come and subscribers will soon have their hands on some real treats. So prepare yourselves! You may soon receive many exciting free games.

PlayStation Plus Essential has experienced both highs and lows this year – although Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and Sackboy: A Big Adventure were excellent offerings, many subscribers labeled May 2023’s selection (Chivalry 2, Grid: Legends & Descenders) as the worst month yet! Ouch.

Thank goodness the free Essential-tier games for July 2023 are stellar. In case you missed last week, subscribers can now dive into Alan Wake Remastered, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Endling – Extinction is Forever to kick start their month – completeionists can expect to spend over 100 hours collecting all trophies! So it truly represents great value.

All three games are exciting in their own ways, but Alan Wake Remastered might stand out the most because its sequel will release soon after – now is an opportune time to check it out before Alan Wake II debuts next month!

PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscribers have even more games at their disposal, totalling 453 titles between both libraries – noting however, that 10 will leave by 18 July (such as Stray). Take full advantage of them while they last!

Sony has yet to confirm which games will be added for PS Plus Extra and Premium subscribers this month, so we must wait and watch.
