Everyday brings with it more speculation and rumors surrounding Grand Theft Auto VI.

Rockstar Games announced they were developing GTA VI back in February 2022 and many expected that by now we would at least know when or see footage for it to come out – yet fans remain anxious that we might die before its arrival on shelves!

So far we’ve only heard whispers that GTA VI will return to Vice City with more modern settings, featuring Jason and Lucia as playable protagonists. While rumors should always be taken with caution until proven otherwise, I remain firm in my belief that there can be no smoke without fire.

Rockstar Games found itself caught off guard when leaked footage from Grand Theft Auto VI began appearing online – which proved that this footage came from an early build.

After nearly one year since GTA VI 2022 leaks were first publicised, fans are continuing to uncover details which hint at its size and map layout. Reddit user Limp-Simple4802 recently provided “33 Seemingly-Unnecessary-but-Otherwise-Neat Details from Leaks of GTA VI,” for instance.

Post is long but I managed to highlight some details which seem to reveal some locations on GTA V’s vast map, such as Little Haiti from GTA: Vice City being confirmed through gameplay videos that leaked online; suggesting we will return there at some point in future games.

They also noted a sign reading, “North, Bocamar Bridge Yorktown”, suggesting that GTA VI could feature an entirely new town that bears no similarity with Miami/Vice City.

Further evidence was discovered when GTA: Vice City was released, showing an impressive mountain with roads leading directly towards it in the distance. Furthermore, we noticed no mountains featured anywhere within its city limits for players to explore like in later games in this franchise – perhaps hinting that gamers will finally have an opportunity to explore beyond Vice City for themselves?

Reddit user caught glimpses of locations and details including Vice Beach Plaza, Malibu Club, Ocean View and South Beach from GTA: Vice City that are recognized by fans. Finally during a chase scene featuring Lucia being pursued by police a small island featuring swamps was seen alongside another scene with a sports stadium background in leaked videos that leaked out.

At present, no official date for Grand Theft Auto VI’s release can be given; it has been speculated to take place sometime between 2024-2025. We hope Rockstar Games will soon provide clarity.

GTA VI will likely only be made available for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, leaving previous-gen consoles behind.
