Elden Ring fans rejoice! A brand-new patch update has just been made available from FromSoftware which details some changes they have implemented into the base game since Shadow of the Erdtree came out last September.
Regarding Shadow of the Erdtree, Elden Ring’s expansion remains unknown to most fans. Announced earlier this year, all we really know about it is that “new adventures in the Lands Between” await us. Fans have gone into detective mode however; concept art from what looks like Miquella appears. Recently it has also come to light that an Elden Ring season pass was scrapped to accommodate this expansion; perhaps we’ll receive more info at Gamescom’s Opening Night Live in August? Error Code 101102) Elden Ring V1.10 features various changes for players across PlayStation, Xbox and Steam platforms. PvP-exclusive balance adjustments include increased poise damage for weapons and some spells and incantations;
Turning our focus back onto general balance adjustments, critical hit damage has been increased while recovery time after missing critical hits has been decreased, along with increasing poise damage caused by attacks after missing them.
As far as bug fixes and general changes go, an adjustment has been made to player damage animation so that attack direction does not unintentionally shift when using certain types of weapons that generate poise, and an issue was rectified that prevented certain spells and incantations from causing damage while under effect of certain skills and items. Furthermore, another bug preventing effects from the Sacred Order skill from continuing after switching weapons had been rectified, plus there has been corrected text in various languages.
