Recently there has been much talk surrounding the Far Cry franchise; so now would be an ideal time for anyone wanting to dive in and try one or more games from this series to do just that!

Recently it has been speculated that Far Cry 7 may be in development; if that speculation proves accurate it’ll not even bear that name! According to an anonymous insider source, this new game could be called Far Cry: Rise instead and will take place on Kimsan Island off Yellow Sea coast of Korea where North Korean insurgents have taken control. Players would play as male or female Korean idol who must survive and protect his or her sibling against insurgencies from North Korea; at this writing Ubisoft have yet confirmed anything definitively or denied anything is true or not yet!

But don’t fret just yet — Far Cry 7 (or whatever its official title will be) may still hit our screens sooner rather than later; and if that is so for you then why not download a free trial of Far Cry 6 on Xbox One Series X/S console, PS4, PS5 or PC via Epic Games Store or Ubisoft Connect right now for an immersive taster of what awaits them? While any progress made will only carry over when they purchase it?

And those paying an Extra or Premium-tier PlayStation Plus subscription can now enjoy playing Far Cry 6 through Sony’s Game Catalogue; just remember it may only remain playable this way for as long as Sony wants. So make sure you jump on it quickly if it interests you!
