How To Utilize Crucifix In Phasmophobia

How should you utilize the Crucifix when playing Phasmophobia and how can it impact the ghosts you’re hunting? Among several tools offered in Phasmophobia’s haunted environments, including communicating with ghosts via communications tools or taking part in ghost hunting expeditions, the Crucifix may prove vitally useful when exploring haunted locations – in fact it could even save your life!

Understanding how to utilize the Crucifix in Phasmophobia gives players more time to figure out their foes and devise a plan of attack against them.

How should one utilize the Phasmophobia Crucifix? For the Crucifix to work effectively, ghosts need to enter its area of effect when beginning hunting activity.

From our experience, the ideal strategy for using the Crucifix against Phasmophobia involves placing it directly on the floor in the room containing ghosts or banshees. With three meters range and two charges included with its purchase. When used against Banshees however, their presence seems to be affected when placed within five meters range of its presence.

When ghosts attempt to initiate hunting attempts near a Crucifix, their attempts will fail while depleting one of its charges. You may bring two Crucifixes with you on each mission – when one or both charges have been used up completely they’ll turn red upon being placed into a blacksmith furnace for disposal.

Note that Phasmophobia’s Crucifix doesn’t appear to affect enemies once they begin hunting them; hence it is vitally important that it is nearby the ghost before becoming aggressive.
