Recent evidence hints at two of the greatest role-playing games ever produced arriving soon on Xbox Game Pass.

Baldur’s Gate fans eager to play it on Xbox will soon have access to both games from this classic series – they will both soon be part of Xbox Game Pass’s growing library!

Baldur’s Gate III’s release is near, with PC users expecting it to hit stores any minute now and PlayStation owners needing to wait until September for their version to appear on store shelves. An Xbox port of Baldur’s Gate III may follow; unfortunately developer Larian Studios doesn’t yet have an estimated date in mind to share. Console owners should clear some space on their hard drives prior to installing as its install size could quickly exceed your capacity!

Recently, however, Xbox Game Pass announced the addition of Baldur’s Gate and Baldur’s Gate II which should keep fans busy until its third installment arrives on Xbox Live.

Twitter user IdleSloth84 first broke the story by sharing leaked images showing new additions to their subscription service.

Although IdleSloth84 has an established track record when it comes to Xbox leaks, at this point in time none of what they claim has been officially verified by Xbox or Microsoft; take any such reports with caution. That being said, Xbox has recently made strides toward expanding Game Pass for PC users as well, so adding two highly celebrated RPGs would only make sense.

Baldur’s Gate games would make an excellent addition to Game Pass’s library and will give Xbox gamers a glimpse of what awaits them when their own version arrives later on.

Baldur’s Gate III officially launches at 4pm BST time today – though those outside the UK likely already have access to this title.
