God of War: Ragnarok hit our screens at the tail-end of 2018 and quickly rose to become one of the top games during awards season – rightly so – because it truly is an outstanding piece.

Ragnarok marks the second game from what could be termed the Norse Era; 2018’s God of War being its predecessor. Before that there were seven titles comprising what we now refer to as Greek Era games which kicked off with God of War (2005); of these seven only God of War III Remastered was available from PS Store so far, making playing them very challenging without an older console in hand.

“I wish Santa Monica would release an entire collection of Greek God of War games for PS5,” Reddit user gladiator19237 suggested in their post on Reddit.

Others were in agreement: MinasTeo noted: “That would be awesome, as I love the God of War Greek Saga and think new PS5 gamers should experience them without streaming and with new enhancements!” KameraLucida shared: “No need for remake treatment here – simply port PS3 HD collection over to 4K 60fps!” TattedUpSimba speculated.
