Animal Crossing LEGO sets may soon be arriving and it sounds absolutely adorable!

Animal Crossing stands as one of the more innocent video game series ever, barring any consideration of the murky black market that emerged around New Horizon’s cat villager, Raymond, which led to those dark times.

Over the years, Animal Crossing merch has provided us with great satisfaction: from charming amiibo figures to adorable Build a Bear plushies. Now however, as reported by VGC’s source VGC reports rumors indicate official Animal Crossing LEGO sets could soon arrive! I couldn’t have asked for anything better!

According to exabrickslegogo_ on Instagram and YouTube user Brick Clicker, five sets are set for release this fall. When compared with more expensive LEGO sets (such as Gringotts Wizarding Bank – Collectors’ Edition), these appear quite affordable; although that might simply be due to being smaller.

At $19.99 for 170 pieces and 14.99 overall cost (plus shipping and tax), these sets appear to offer great value. Furthermore, there will allegedly be 389 piece sets priced at just $30.99; additionally 233 and 535-piece options can also be had for less.

Undoubtedly, we don’t yet know exactly what these sets will include but reports indicate they could include custom minifigures with specially moulded heads for Tom Nook and Isabelle; I imagine trying to force their faces onto human heads would result in quite horrifying effects if anything like that were attempted! So maybe these unique minifigs with specially formed heads is definitely something worth keeping an eye out for?

Instagram leaker exabrickslegogo_ has hinted that LEGO plans on releasing Animal Crossing: New Horizons sets in March 2024 – coinciding nicely with Animal Crossing’s four year anniversary! However, neither LEGO or Nintendo has confirmed these reports; therefore for now take them with a grain of salt.
