Are any other gamers feeling as overwhelmed with backlogs as I am right now? Despite having just completed Persona 5 Royal’s extensive 82 hour campaign, I somehow still feel far removed from clearing away my stack of games that has amassed.

PS Plus’ recent selection of freebies certainly isn’t helping, either. Not only must subscribers deal with Essential-tier games each month; Extra and Premium game catalogues often boast massive selections as well. Of particular note have been NEO: The World Ends with You (in Essential), Horizon Forbidden West and Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age Definitive Edition. (Wow that was an awful sentence. Please play that game).

Error Code 101102 On Reddit, users have admitted they’re overwhelmed with options when it comes to new games to try that they are no longer sure which way they should head – something many can relate to!

“Does Anyone Else Find it Difficult to Select and Stay Committed to One Game?” posted 82brighteyes. “Especially older gamers like myself who must save up for one specific title before diving in and investing their funds thereon; otherwise I switch back and forth between starting new games for an hour or so and revisiting previous ones; similar to Netflix.” The last title completed for me was Final Fantasy VII Remake!

Others share this sentiment as well: “Yup[,] too many things available makes life increasingly burdensome in this consumption-based society; I miss when I bought one PS2 game at a time and played it for several months or so before moving onto something else; now there are 30 unfinished ones sitting unplayed waiting their turn,” according to Breadsticks-lover. When given free time they don’t know which to play first — which eventually ends up happening anyway with CoD being played for two rounds until eventually becoming dissatisfying myself a la Breadsticks-lover wrote that this lack of choice leaves many indecisional struggles when faced with options compared with which game makes one feel isolated compared with playing something for longer before disinterest sets in,” wrote the_hillman adrift within himself and felt very similar sentiments about his situation when trying out different titles before giving up completely on them after one failed purchase with CoD becoming dissatisifed from memory!

All things considered, having too many games to play is actually quite an admirable problem to have – there’s much worse things out there to worry about than this!
