August is finally here and that can only mean one thing – Ahsoka will finally premiere on Disney+ later this month! Are you excited? Well you should be!

This eight-episode series will follow Ahsoka Tano as she investigates an emerging threat to a vulnerable galaxy, alongside Rosario Dawson as Ahsoka, Natasha Liu Bordizzo as Sabine Wren and Ray Stevenson (deceased) who portray Baylan Skoll.

Fans have long speculated that Ahsoka could feature Galen Marek, known by fans as Starkiller from Star Wars: The Force Unleashed as an antagonistic Inquisitor on her show; since an image featuring this individual surfaced back in June.

Dexerto reports that this Inquisitor has now been given the name Marrok and described in detail on the official Star Wars website – with his character profile reading: “Once an Imperial Inquisitor hunting Jedi for Morgan Elsbeth, Marrok now works as a hired gun for her dark deeds mercenary armour covered by battering still carrying a double-bladed red double saber with circular hilt in hand – fully enclosed within his battering armour. ”

Will those names sound familiar to you? Fans believe there’s more than meets the eye with Marrok and Marek: for instance, @MaceAhWindu on Twitter noted, that fans were convinced there were signs that these two were connected: “So this mysterious Inquisitor’s name is Marrok? Just for record; this doesn’t stop any allegations against Starkiller”, per MaceAhWindu on Twitter.

“Gaelen Marrok, Killer of Stars; Vader’s Preferred Inquisitor'” @THEDevinWolfe1 joked. @mad_buckeye replied with, “Yes indeed; Jaylen Marrok.”

Of course, all this speculation could turn out to be completely groundless; but you cannot deny their similarities; so we shall see when Ahsoka premieres on 23 August and see what unfolds then.
