Call of Duty Season 5 has an exploit that apparently breaks mastery camo, rendering him useless for camo camo production.
Call of Duty has long been known for offering players access to an expansive arsenal of weapon camouflages they can unlock in Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone.
Season 5 has officially arrived and players are enjoying the variety of Operator skins offered within games. Furthermore, recent modifications to Ricochet anti-cheat mechanisms mean bans will now appear in kill feed during matches for increased transparency.
Anti-cheat measures appear to be working effectively; however, since the beginning of Season 7, an unknown bug has prevented players from customising weapons with mastery camouflages.
Once Klubhead attempted to use Orion mastery camo on Call of Duty, a message appeared stating they were using an invalid camouflage type and could no longer do it.
From reading comments in response to this post, it appears the issue could affect all animated camouflages available in Warzone. According to one player: “I can equip and use it while in-game but am unable to save weapon loadouts with it equipped.
“Frustratingly difficult!” was how one player described their experiences completing all the challenges required to unlock the camo; another player commented, stating their hope it will soon be fixed:
The exact cause of the apparent issue remains a mystery; however, the timing appears to coincide with the launch of the latest seasonal update. We must wait and see whether game developers plan to apply a fix so players can equip their camouflages on battlefield.
Bugs continue to plague Call of Duty players. Recently, a Warzone gulag glitch granted one fighter access to weapons they hadn’t earned through matches – giving an unfair edge against opponents.
On the bright side, however, there are various weapon designs to select from in the gunsmith.
