These classic games likely don’t need any introduction; after all, they have stood the test of time! Just in case your memory fades with time or you are too young to recall what each offers us here’s an introduction into Ape Escape: On the Loose and MediEvil: your guide.

Ape Escape: On the Loose is a remake of Age Escape that was released as an official launch day game for PlayStation Portable (PP), also known as PSP.

Even though On the Loose was a remake, some modifications were implemented in order to accommodate for PSP-specific controls and accommodate additional features, like mini games, that made this game truly exciting.

Game is clearly of its time; more polished than 90s titles but still vivid with blocky textures and vivid pixelated scenes.

MediEvil Resurrection’s arrival on PlayStation Plus promises a thrilling action game experience like no other: its 90s retro graphics may tempt you to quit prematurely – but don’t! MediEvil Resurrection promises an experience you won’t soon forget!

MediEvil Resurrection was released for PSP in 2005 as an update of 1998’s original MediEvil game and featured some significant upgrades including rewind and quick save capabilities.

Both games were critically-acclaimed at launch and since have earned themselves an enthusiastic following of followers that have eagerly anticipated when PS5 would deliver its reward for waiting so patiently.

As always, two classic games stand out here as being particularly notable, though other notable releases – two launch day releases included! In order to secure both of these fresh titles on release day – being both PlayStation Plus Premium and Extra members is key; specifically Sea of Stars which launches 29 August 2023 is exclusive to Extra subscriptions only.

Given Sea of Stars is more highly anticipated than Moving Out 2, PS owners might wish to upgrade in order to make sure they make the most of their membership and relive some of those glorious days from our youth. Of course, don’t take our advice; classic games remain beloved!

Starting August 15, 2023, Ape Escape: On The Loose and MediEvil Resurrection will both be available through PlayStation Plus Premium.
