Phil Spencer, Xbox’s head, says the Elder Scrolls IV is more similar to the space-based version of Skyrim or Fallout.

Spencer spoke of the game in an interview at Gamescom this year, which was shared on Reddit by SeriousEar2971. They said that they had played about 200 hours across multiple playthroughs. Then they said: “It’s a more Oblivion game than Skyrim… This is a epic, epic videogame.”

This would explain the unexpected reincarnation, and the NPC who would be your obsessive companion after you became the Grand Champion of the Arena. The adoring fans will change depending on the background that you select for your Starfield characters.

Fans were thrilled to hear that Oblivion was compared, especially when they considered the amazing storyline and sidequests in the game.

” Skyrim was a vast improvement over Oblivion when it came to gameplay. However, the quests and writing were better and more complicated in Oblivion. Starfield’s combat looks amazing, so the idea of a heavier RPG system and more challenging quests sounds great to me,” said one enthusiast.

This is great news for me. Oblivion is ….dumb, but I like it the best because of the balance between the RPG parts and casual ones,” added another. These are PR terms that I really liked. Oblivion was the most interactive media fever dream,” said one comment.

Starfield will launch next month with a ton of content. Fans are prepared to spend thousands of hours exploring the galaxy. Bethesda also promises that there will be ” astounding” side quests for players to enjoy.

Starfield will be released on Xbox and PC 6 September. Early access will begin on September 1 for those who purchased the Constellation Edition.
