GTA 6 is getting closer every day and GTA 6 people are beginning to long for something tangible to hold on to.
Rockstar Games first announced that GTA VI was in active production in February 2022. Then what has changed? There has been nothing but fans who rush live shows on TV and notorious leaks about gameplay from an early version of the game that was released last summer for fans to choose over.
Even though Rockstar was able to gather a fairly accurate picture of the leaks from last year and erase many of them off the web, the odd fragment has made its way back onto the web with the support of the fans.
Reddit user HiiGuardian discovered a picture of leaked gameplay which seems to demonstrate how massive GTA VI’s world of openness can be. This isn’t a major surprise since we’re aware Rockstar has been developing the game for over ten years. But it’s intriguing to get a real feel the size.
“If you were this far from the tall buildings in GTA V, you would be outside of the metropolitan area easily,” they wrote in a blog post that included the image. “While you appear to be located in the city. The city appears huge.”
The Redditor is then able to draw a line at a distance that could indicate the size of the map. It’s important to note, however, that the image in question comes part of an early development version of the game, and therefore it’s not advisable to put too much trust in it.
In additional GTA VI news we recently found out that the game was almost certain to be released in March 2025 at maximum, which implies that in just two years, we’ll be able to be done asking Rockstar about where GTA VI is. If that’s not an important move towards peace in the world, I’m not sure what could be.
