PlayStation Plus free games for September 2023 have been confirmed as official
PlayStation Plus Free games scheduled for September 2023 have been revealed, and it appears like we’re getting an interesting mix.
It’s been a good few weeks with PlayStation Plus, featuring a variety of fantastic games available on the Essential or Extra tiers. If you’re playing Essential it’s possible to get this month: The PGA Tour 2K23 game, Dreams and Death’s Door for Extra members, and Premium subscribers receive an additional 17 games during August. This includes 9/10 RPG Sea Of Stars.
This month’s games that are free and available to Essential subscribers will be dominated by Saints Row, which was released early in the week. Be surprised and try to be astonished will you?
The fans have been slamming Saints Rowas one of the most shoddy AAA games ever created. They (rightly) claim that it’s packed with bugs (though I’m sure this’s been fixed since) It’s also it’s not very enjoyable.
Saints Row has a critique score of 61 with a user score that is just 2.9. The truth is, even people who believe that Saints Rowis very excellent still believe it’s quite mediocre.
The other two games are more successful. The players will be able to grab the game Black Desert – Traveler Edition as well as Gen Zero.
It’s not too bad a lineup with a decent roster, except if you examine some Metacritic scores for every game. Black Desert is an Open-World MMO that boasts an average user score that is 3.8 and a score for critics of 61. It’s it’s not exactly a big hit.
Generation Zerodoesn’t do significantly better, I’m afraid. This open-world action title scores a critic score of 51 and a user rating of 5.6. If we’re thinking only in terms of critic praise, PlayStation Plus’ free games of September are seriously not up to scratch. We hope that the games free for Premium and Extra subscribers that will be scheduled later this month will bring more positive news.
