It’s September, which could only be a sign that we’ve started Starfield Season. The players who ordered for the Premium and Constellation versions will have access to early access. All others can join at the beginning of September 6.

The embargo lifted for the game on the morning of yesterday. It’s evident that the game has been a great victory, even though it’s Metacritic rating was slightly lower than many expected. It was my pleasure writing a review of Starfield on GAMINGbible and giving it the perfect score of 10.

The review is as follows “Every once in a while there is a game that comes to market that challenges our notions of what the gaming industry can do. Starfieldis the game that has changed our perception. This goes beyond what we’ve gotten used to an open world to be. Bethesda is an entire universe which even in spite of its enormous size retains its interest and incredible attention to details throughout.” When you consider that Starfield includes more than 1000 planets, people are wondering how it works on Xbox Series S. The solution? Absolutely flawlessly.

I played it myself using my Series S. In my review, I wrote, “I was concerned about the performance of this game in the Series S, given so many developers have acknowledged being frustrated by the console but, overall, amazed. However, I experienced a handful of crashes. However, Starfield automatically saves constantly, which means something that a simple reload can fix. In terms of bugs with the exception of one occasion that I went to the hospital and then my hair disappeared for a time but it was otherwise smoothly.”

Don’t take my word for it. Eurogamer has had the same experience noting, “The console versions are able to perform fairly well, displaying steady, smooth, as well as detailed graphics. In a deeper dive into the Xbox Series versions, at the glance we’ll see quite similar experience for each console, with the less powerful Series S looking quite good.”

Don’t take my word for it. Eurogamer also had a similar experience saying, “The console versions can be mastered fairly well, providing steady, smooth, and clear graphics. In a deeper dive into the Xbox Series versions, at the glance we’re experiencing quite similar experience for each console, with the more sluggish Series S looking quite good.”
