Ark: Survival Evolved officially shut down
Ark: Survival Evolved servers are now offline as Ark: Survival Evolved will be rebranded as Ark: Survival Ascended. Ark the SURVIVAL Ascended.
The weekend before, on the 30th of September, Ark: Survival Evolved’s developers Ark: Survival Evolved took the live-service game offline. It’s undergoing another change, including new features, game-specific content, and a new paint coating.
The new title will be Ark The Survival Ascended and is believed to be an essential version that will take advantage of the latest generation hardware, including top-of-the-line PCs as well as PlayStation 5, PlayStation 5, as well as the Xbox Series X and S. The game will also use the Unreal Engine 5, which is the latest version of Unreal Engine.
The update was revealed earlier in the year and set to launch in August. However, the release was delayed for unknown reasons. However, now the upgrade will be available, and Ark: Survival players will not be able to enjoy Ark: Survival for the next few days.
Fortunately, this shouldn’t have any effect on any save files of people because the game is said to have taken an image of all saves and hopes to recover each of them once Ark the Survival Ascended is released, allowing users to preserve all their progress while enjoying the latest content.
If you’ve never experienced Ark, It’s an online, open-world survival game in which players get dropped on an expansive map filled with beasts, dinosaurs, and potentially dangerous players. The game begins without much more than the basic clothes you’ve got on before eventually constructing your way toward the top, constructing bases, purchasing better equipment,, and taming dinosaurs you fight.
It’s become trendy throughout the years, which is why it continues to receive support for this game, with versions and an Ark 2 being developed, set to be released around 2024.
In the case of Ark: Survival Ascension, however, there’s no date for release, but the next-gen update should come out in April, which means now could be an ideal time to dive into it if you’ve not yet tried it.
