Mr Robot producers have officially revealed Cyberpunk 2077 live-action film adaptation.

Night City is flourishing – and it’s clear why gamers are saying it’s their favourite gaming destination. With the release of Update 2.0 and the launch of the Phantom Liberty expansion, Cyberpunk 2077 is now living fully to its potential and has completed its redemption story. Today, CD Projekt RED posted on Twitter that the game had already sold over 25 million copies. In addition, Phantom Liberty has already sold three million copies in less than a week. This isn’t all the news it’s announced, however. There’s a chance we already have animation Edgerunners. However, a live-action Cyberpunk 2077 adaptation is coming soon. Huge news.
In an announcement, CD Projekt RED revealed that they’ve joined forces with the world-renowned media firm Anonymous Content to develop a live-action production in Cyberpunk 2077. We’re still unsure if the project is a TV show or a film. But regardless, it’s information that’s sure to get the attention of fans.
Anonymous Content is known for its involvement in the Emmy award-winning television series True Detective and Mr. Robot, in addition to the Oscar winner film Spotlight and The Revenant. Naturally, The Cyberpunk 2077 project is in good hands. Particularly, CD Projekt RED will collaborate closely with the TV head Garret Kemble and director of development Ryan Schwartz and chief creative officer David Levine – so it’s appearing more like a TV show than a movie. Levine was previously in charge of drama production at HBO,, including work on True Detective, Westworld and Game of Thrones.
