Mortal Kombat 1 reveals first-look at Omni-Man with new gameplay

Mortal Kombat 1 reveals first look at Omni-Man with new gameplay.

Mortal Kombat’s first DLC-exclusive fighter, Omni-Man, stars in an upcoming gameplay trailer, and he’s a complete threat.

Perhaps the most excellent fighting game this year, Mortal Kombat 1, offers an unparalleled amount of blood-sucking, grueling excitement since the game’s initial launch, provided you’re not with Nintendo Switch. Nintendo Switch…

We described the game as one that was a “safe but gloriously gory delight” in our review, which you are able to read here, and we were awed by the fantastic images, classic gameplay, and the return of some classic and well-known characters.

Although the most popular characters are present, including Raiden, Scorpion, Sub-Zero, and many more, There are a lot of fresh faces to join the roster, including the soon-to-be-released DLC fighters. The very first non-human fighter that will be joining the competition is none other than The Invincible’s villain Omni-Man, who was recently shown a first announcement, and it’s safe to claim that the fans loved the look of what they saw.

The gameplay demo was posted on the official Mortal Kombat Twitter account; NetherRealm announced: “The realms will tremble under the weight of the Viltrum Empire,” followed by more than a minute of Omni-Man breaking things down.

The actions of his character appear to have been straight from The Amazon Prime Video show, which is scheduled to launch its second season. The deaths of his characters are worth dying for. Literally.

A particular move has Omni-Man shackling his adversary in front of the moving train. This is the most horrific action that he performed on his son Mark (Invincible) in the finale of the first season. A different move sees him smash his opponent’s skull with his hands in the same way used by the show’s Red Rush in the first season’s first episode.

The actor looks stunning. The best part is that the role as the voice of J.K Simmons is set to reprise the role so that you can anticipate some exciting conversations between Omni-Man as well as the other characters. We are eagerly anticipating the back-and-forth and fight with his villain, Homelander, who’ll also play as a DLC-exclusive player.

The first DLC wave available for Mortal Kombat 1 will be released in November on Xbox, PlayStation, PC, and Nintendo Switch platforms.
