Harry Potter fans discover an ‘undisclosed sex scene’ in Prisoner of Azkaban
Have you ever found yourself wondering whether there were any sexual scenes in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban? I hadn’t before now! Neither had I.
Today we bring a somewhat strange and disquieting story: some fans think they have seen evidence of an unexpected sexual scene within 2004’s Prisoner of Azkaban movie – although we believe there may be an innocent explanation behind such claims.
As reported by our friends at LADBible, almost two decades since Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban’s cinematic release, fans are discussing its rolling credits. When Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban’s end credits roll, fans recognize an iconic scene: when Marauders Map shows everything going on at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry with its secret corners hidden away as well as those currently present shown by tiny footprints walking the corridors!
At some point during the end credits we see what appear to be footprints belonging to two individuals standing close together and seemingly having intimate contact in the bottom left-hand corner. While unwise minds might interpret it as two people having sexual contact (use your imagination!), more likely than not it’s just two people having a kiss!
“Nobody expects wizards not to use their wand,” tweeted one user sarcastically on FilmEasterEggs’ now deleted post about Harry Potter snogging at school; another user made his point clear by writing “This is Harry Potter not Pornhub!”.
As further testimony on this matter, one of the individuals behind designing Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban’s credit sequence told The Huffington Post: “We all remember being children at school… so this gesture wasn’t anything more than an innocent gesture to show respect.”
So there you are; the end credits are absolutely benign!
