The Witcher 4 Unreal Engine 5 concept trailer is breathtakingly gorgeous
As Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Libertynow officially launched, CD Projekt RED is shifting its focus towards the next instalment in The Witcher Series.
Although we’re calling the forthcoming game The Witcher 4, it’s not an official name. It’s actually the opposite. CDPR has previously stated it wouldn’t be directly a successor to the previous game The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Instead, it’ll begin a new series however it is believed that it is a direct link to the earlier trilogy. We could see the new main character, since it’s not looking like Geralt will be the one to be the main character. The possibilities are endless possibilities for the moment and CDPR keeps its cards close to the chest. One fan has created a sketch of the way The Witcher 4 could look when it comes to Unreal Engine 5 The results are amazing.
The video was created by the popular YouTube creator TeaserPlay. In announcing the project, he stated, “In this video, we will think about The Witcher 4 as a game. It is being made through CD Projekt RED for PS5, Xbox Series X|S as well as PC. We have tried using the full power and capabilities that are available in Unreal Engine 5 to recreate the same experience, including Lumen, Nanite, Ray Tracing and Metahuman.”
TeaserPlay’s trailer appears to feature Geralt as a main character for a few scenes, however as I mentioned, we’re still not certain the person who will be leading the story of The Witcher Four. The Witcher 4 is a fan-made idea, and it’s nice to think about ‘What do you think?’ particularly when we’re not sure of the exact time until CDPR provides a genuine update. I’m guessing that the developers are taking their time on this project.
Fans are waiting for. “I just want CDPR to take their time, even decades if they need to,” said an anonymous YouTube user. “If fan-made can look that good then I have high hopes for an official product,” wrote another.
