GTA fans remain skeptical that the forthcoming trailer for GTA 6 truly represents it.
An exciting month lies ahead as we near the final month of 2023 and look back over its major titles with The Game Awards.
Rockstar Games recently made headlines when it announced it will mark their 25th Anniversary with an exciting surprise: an eye-opener trailer of GTA VI! This announcement only amplified anticipation.
Rockstar will release the GTA V trailer around December, with many anticipating its debut at The Game Awards ceremony or via social media and website, similar to Red Dead Redemption 2 and GTA V trailer releases.
Fans eagerly anticipate Rockstar Games’ big reveal of GTA VI on October 7th; as fans continue to speculate and digest leaks and rumours regarding it in anticipation, others remain less optimistic. Some experts suspect the trailer Rockstar plans on unveiling may in fact have no bearing on GTA VI whatsoever!
Concern over GTA6 was brought up during a discussion on its subreddit when user Outrageous_Creme_455 commented “can’t believe there are people out there who believe this trailer coming in December isn’t authentic!”.
Rockstar went on to acknowledge how some were clearly just playing around, yet some genuinely excited individuals are being dampened down because they “aren’t sure it’s for real”, even though in their announcement tweet Rockstar clearly states “next Grand Theft Auto”.
Commenters blamed all the false alarms and speculation surrounding GTA VI for traumatizing fans to the point they don’t trust anything anymore.
Others contend it would have been reasonable for Rockstar to disappoint with regards to customer support since their entire focus has been centered around one game for 10 years now.
One could conclude logically that any new trailer must be related to Grand Theft Auto VI as any tweet like that would have been scrutinised and its stock value could quickly fall if anything other than GTA VI was revealed in it.
Fans won’t be happy if we reach December without seeing a GTA VI trailer, that much is certain.
