Zelda: Ocarina Of Time is one of the most popular games ever created, as per the cold hard science
It’s true, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time could have been awarded the award of being the best game ever. Uh oh, I anticipate fierce debate.
It is unlikely that anyone will claim the fact that Ocarina of Time deserves to be a top game. This is an absolutely fantastic game, and if you’re not yet to try it out, I would like to ask: What is it that you don’t know about? Take a break and learn what the majority there is to be excited about. However, I’m certain there are many people who believe that a different game is worthy of drawing the attention of Ocarina of Timeto the top contender. The definitive list comes from Reddit user Cisco, who has created 14 lists compiled by numerous media and other industry sources over the past five years to determine the most popular game in history.
Scdsco stated, “For each list, I assigned each game an overall score that was based on the position (i.e. one point for placing in 100th position 2 points for 99th as well as towards 100 points to the first spot). Also, I gave a specific amount of additional points just for being listed, as games that are not ranked have no benefit against games that did not rank even. It was different according to which list it was: top 100, top 50 or top 200 and the list goes on. Being included on higher-end lists definitely earns higher points.”

The list that was compiled to create the final ranking comprised Empire (UK, 2023), USA Today (US 2022), Popular Mechanics (US 2022), Looper (US, 2022), IGN (international, 2021), Slant (US, 2020), Game Informer (US in 2018,), Games TM (UK 2018, 2018), Metacritic top 200 meta scores from all time (as in 2023), IMDB top 200 rating of users from all time (as in 2023), Ranker top 200 users’ ratings from all time (as in 2023), British GQ Industry Poll (UK 2023), TV Asahi viewer poll (Japan 2021) as well as Hobby Consolas readers’ poll (Spain/Latin America 2021).
The results are as follows: The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time won the title, then Breath of the Wild Grand Theft Auto V, The Last of Us as well as Tetris.
