Cyberpunk 2077 live-action project sets release window
Given Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most beloved RPG franchises ever, CD Projekt is exploring every possible method to expand upon it and expand upon its universe.

As previously announced in October 2023 by the creators of Mr Robot in collaboration with Anonymous Content, they revealed plans for a cyberpunk live-action adaptation production slated to premiere either as a movie or television series in 2023. Only time will tell!
“Creating a live-action project set in the Cyberpunk universe will allow us to reach even broader audiences. We are delighted that Anonymous Content – an experienced and respected partner – can assist in fulfilling our ambitions.” said Michal Nowakowski, CCO and Board Member at CD Projekt in a press release.
Cyberpunk Live Action Production will likely take the form of either a series or movie; we don’t yet know when its debut might occur, though an analysis by an investment banking firm suggests it might come out before at least 2025.
“With regards to Cyberpunk IP, we plan on cultivating and expanding it beyond game play as part of a franchise flywheel we currently have running,” Nowakowski revealed. Although they couldn’t give specifics as this conversation has yet been held. One direction we will head in next year could include Anonymous Content’s project announcement but this won’t be all there will be additional activity as 2024 progresses – something to look out for as you see more details emerge about Cyberpunk 2024 development projects announced and more to follow as we progress further into 2024! Don’t think Cyberpunk 2024 will go quietly,” Nowakowski assured them of this promise.
Nowakowski teased other projects for next year and beyond in his teasers for Next Year and Beyond: Edgerunners Season 2. However, for immediate enjoyment fans may enjoy Cyberpunk 2077 on PC, PlayStation and Xbox.
