After 15 years of transforming the world of gaming on mobile and independent for the better, World of Goo 2 isn’t just real and is there’s a lot more to come.

The long-awaited sequel of the iconic mobile game World of Goo 2 reunites players from the original game to create the first authentic sequel to the game of puzzles, which is one of the greatest indie titles that has ever existed.

The game is expected to launch in 2024. this new game brings together the team of 2D Boy and the Tomorrow Corporation to introduce a variety of brand new challenges to the game. Naturally, the initial levels are still centered around joining the goo-loving creatures to build bridges and other structures, however the later levels will totally alter the gameplay.

On the site of the game The team that created the game explain that this is an “biggest” game they’ve made. In the span of 15 years of development, they explain they’re able to fit much more into the same game than they had envisioned when the initial title was launched.

The developers are not yet revealed the platforms it will release on, the team stated: “let the vast expanse of uncertainty fill our hearts with wonder, while we fill our bank accounts with exclusive distribution contracts.” Xbox Game Pass, maybe?
