Light No Fire is a game from No Man’s Sky dev Hello Games is larger than Earth
After assisting No Man’s Sky for ten years, Hello Games’ next adventure Light No Fire aims to make a massive multiplayer planet set in a fantasy world in which all players play in a single game.
Unveiled in The Game Awards 2023 It is described as being the first open-world game in history. A game world created to be the same scale of Earth, as opposed to the smaller planets of No Man’s Sky, the fantasy world of Light No Fire will allow player to engage in a never-before-attempted type of multiplayer adventure.
The game was created by a small group of developers at Hello Games of about a dozen developers, the brand new open-world game lets players to collaborate in order to collect resources, create settlements, scale Everest-like mountains or tame flying creatures other.
At The Game Awards, Hello Games director Sean Murray explained that Light No Fire will be the next major project for the independent studio. After 10 years of delivering massive changes for No Man’s Sky and No Man’s Sky 2, the team would like this latest open world multiplayer game to become the main goal in the same manner as their space adventure game been the case for the last 10 years.
“This is a game I’d still like to be updating ten years from now,” Murray told The Game Awards host Geoff Keighley.
Murray said the game’s Light No Fire will be the first game that offers the true scale of planet Earth. Like the real Earth Mountains will also have an authentic to life size There are numerous biomes to explore as well as a myriad of animal as well as plant life are discovered and players will be able to exist and thrive through their determination.
“This is something very different, something maybe more ambitious than No Man’s Sky,” Murray stated. “For No Man’s Sky, we generated an entire universe of sparse alien planets and that wasn’t easy. It was hard but there’s something much harder we wanted to do. For our new game, we wanted to create an Earth.”
“A planet that is as varied as a universe,” Murray said. “Something with mountains, real mountains, not video game mountains but mountains that are miles high, taller than Everest. Something that when you climb it you can look out and see rivers, canyons and continents.”
The trailer for Light No Fire shows an expansive fantasy setting filled with secrets. One thing we need to find out is the date when the game is due to be released and when. There are no platforms, nor a dates for release have been set regarding the title.
