Gears Of War Meet Fallout in an amazing Warhammer shooter
Gears of War hasn’t seen a number entry for some time – with only Gears 5 released for Xbox One last year as its last installment. Granted, that version received an upgrade as part of an expanded DLC campaign but fans of Lancer Assault Rifle-wielding COG soldiers desperately want another installment!
At present, neither Xbox Game Studios or developer The Coalition have revealed anything regarding Gears 6 being in development, nor a Halo: The Master Chief Collection-inspired bundle for Gears of War on Xbox Series X|S. However, another option exists – PC gaming platform Steam can deliver this experience!
Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 is being created and released by Saber Interactive and Focus Entertainment, who also previously created World War Z: Aftermath (now out for purchase and review by players worldwide). From Saber’s team that brought us fun co-op multiplayer shooter World War Z: Aftermath to now being in charge of Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic remake trouble, Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 brings third person Gears of War-esque shooters that also add post apocalyptic Fallout elements (perhaps finally satisfying fans). We may finally see what we were long waiting for; at any rate it appears that Warhammer 40,000 has had some influence upon previous iterations of Gears.

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 follows Lieutenant Titus, an Imperial Worlds Defender tasked with saving them from an invasion led by Hive Fleet Leviathan. Though likely an uphill struggle, Lieutenant Titus will have Sergeant Brother Gadriel and Brother Chairon by his side as allies to help fight his battle for glory and ensure victory!
Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 has unfortunately experienced several delays, yet that shouldn’t diminish anyone’s enthusiasm for its release on 9 September 2024 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
