If you have played The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Siren can be one of the most frustrating enemies to encounter in game.

These slippery customers don’t present much of a challenge, more like an inconvenience. Attacking as you sail around Skellige, typically clawing away at your boat and spoiling what would otherwise be an enjoyable trip – they might as well just play as Siren from The Witcher 3 for all they care. Well if that has ever been something you have imagined doing yourself this game could provide it all in spades!

Sirens stands out as something different than anything we’ve ever seen before and I am thoroughly amazed. There are elements from The Witcher in its dark fantasy world but also influences from Subnautica and Ecco the Dolphin that seem to make up its signature underwater exploration style.

According to Steam’s description of this adventure game, players become Sirens to hunt down dangerous sea creatures that roam our deep-sea realms! Witness an exciting voyage around our globe seen through Siren’s eyes at various stages in their development!

Sirens might have been hard to convince me of when water levels in video games were generally subpar, but its beauty made my choice easier. Watching mythical creatures cut through murky waters while do battle against real dinosaurs sold me on this game that I never realized I wanted – now that I hear their call though I may just find I cannot resist their lure any longer!

At this stage, Sirens lacks an official release window; this suggests its development could still be underway. We hope for 2024 but 2025 might be safer as an estimate; either way we’ll keep an eye on it and share any updates we gain as they come along.
