Now we have not one but two Avatar games coming out this year from different franchises – with Aang being more prominently represented than his counterparts on Pandora! Fans should look forward to both releases.

As reported by IGN, Avatar: The Last Airbender: Quest for Balance will soon be arriving on PCs and consoles this fall. Players will have the chance to enjoy solo play or join forces in two-player co-op – either locally or online!

Nine iconic characters can be played, including Aang, Toph, Katara and Sokka. A press release (via Gematsu) revealed that players will use bending techniques to overcome environmental puzzles while upgrading characters’ abilities over the course of gameplay.

There will be 18 chapters available to experience that focus on “Aang’s original adventure”, according to an Xbox YouTube channel synopsis, that covers all the main plot points from Avatar: The Last Airbender animated television series. A quote found there reads as such: “Relive Aang and his friends’ epic journey in Avatar: The Last Airbender series by mastering elements, exploring unique locations from series episodes, solving challenging environmental puzzles and experiencing heartfelt moments from Aang’s story! Experience an epic Avatar: The Last Airbender series episode!”.

As such, it doesn’t appear there will be any new story elements for fans familiar with the show to discover; therefore, those already acquainted may not come away surprised or excited at any fresh discoveries; nonetheless, co-op mode provides a compelling incentive to jump in.

Avatar: The Last Airbender: Quest for Balance will release across multiple platforms this year: PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Series X/S Nintendo Switch and PC.
