Some may argue that true perfection doesn’t exist, but what about purrrfection? Well, my friends, purrrfection does indeed exist and can be found in a ginger cat!

Stray the Action (also known as Cat Simulator) was published by BlueTwelve Studio and Annapurna Interactive and launched for both PlayStation 5 and 4 consoles in July 2022 via PS Plus subscription service. Both commercially as well as for those subscribed, Stray quickly proved itself as a massive hit both commercially and for those subscribed.

So it was no shock when Stray became the most-played title on PS Plus for those that subscribe to both Extra and Premium tiers, with an 8.4 rating among critics and 83% from users on Metacritic.

Xbox gamers were undoubtedly keeping their fingers crossed that this beloved ‘cat sim’ would soon make its debut on green hardware – their hopes being raised when an ESRB rating surfaced online, seemingly verifying their hopes.

Thanks to IGN and Annapurna Interactive showcase, there’s good news. Stray has now been officially confirmed for Xbox Series X|S and One consoles; expect its arrival by August 10th 2023 and cat memes to begin taking over once again!

As part of our review, we noted how Stray was “beautifully designed, creative, humorous, and full of moments that left my jaw dropped. No matter your tastes – love them or hate ’em – Stray delivers.

“While it might not have lasted an excessively long amount of time, the experience left me nothing less than engaged and entertained – something no other video game can truly deliver these days!
