As gamers, we all share one goal – trying to conquer our backlogs. Unfortunately, they’ll remain an undiminished burden until our time runs out – every time one game gets completed and four others take its place! So let’s concede defeat and add even more games into that pile; I have just the thing for PlayStation Plus subscribers, although time may limit their participation!

Today is the last day to take advantage of June’s PlayStation Plus essential tier lineup and it includes Trek to Yomi, NBA 2K23 or Jurassic World Evolution 2, so if these titles interest you be sure to grab them soon before their slots get replaced by July’s trio: Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, Alan Wake Remastered and Endling – Extinction is Forever (I can’t wait!). Not to be outdone, several more additions – like Endling – will join this week – while additional titles like Alan Wake Remastered will leave both extra and premium tiers soon – which may disappoint as many more leave later this year (such as this trilogy by Sega), as they won’t last very long in terms of availability in premium.

Stray, BioShock Remastered and BioShock 2 Remastered are set to leave soon, along with Borderlands Handsome Collection, Raiden V: Director’s Cut, Rogue Stormers Saints Row: Gat out of Hell Marvel’s Avengers and Fluster Cluck – however the BioShock trilogy should really be considered before leaving your platform of choice.

According to ComicBook, both titles will release on 18 July – giving players less than three weeks to dive in! BioShock Remastered should take 12 hours while BioShock 2 should take around 11 and Infinite around 12. While completion by this deadline might require dedication if time is tight.

BioShock is widely considered one of the greatest gaming series ever created and its removal is an unfortunate setback for PlayStation Plus subscribers. There may be another time they return but we can only hope. So take full advantage while they last!
