Today is freebie day for social simulator fans – fans are in for a treat this time!

Recently we’ve noticed an abundance of freebies appear on Steam’s PC store – such as free-to-play games or full releases with 100% discounts – making us grateful that there’s some gaming bliss free for taking.

Go-Go Town! from Prideful Sloth is a free Animal Crossing-inspired game you can try for free by signing up for their playtest program.

“Plan, Build…Prosper? As mayor of this rundown town, your job is to bring life back into it through construction of shops, hiring staff members to run them efficiently with automated deliveries from courier services and drawing tourists into town while managing infrastructure without creating disasters… Who said becoming mayor would be easy?” states the synopsis.

Go-Go Town! is your opportunity to be your own boss while building, renovating and making friends to fulfill all your creative desires until your heart’s content.

So how can I join the playtest, you ask? That is easy too – simply visit Go-Go Town! website and sign up for its mailing list newsletter; by doing this you’ll not only stay abreast of its news but can take part in today’s scheduled playtest on 3 July 2023!

Go-Go Town! is scheduled for release sometime around 2024 on PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch platforms at an undetermined retail price point.

Genshin Impact studio miHoYo has announced they are developing another Animal Crossing-like game and one New Horizons player lost 500 hours playing before coming up with an ideal solution to their island crisis.
