Pokemon TCG Exclusive Reveal of Obsidian Flames Evolution Line
Well look at that – its time for our exclusive Pokemon Trading Card Game reveal! Today we present to you an early look at Rowlet from Obsidian Flames which will be released this August 11th.
At first glance, these cards might seem to have no place in Obsidian Flames; nor in English language format if released at all! Instead they might even end up as part of Japan’s Grass Decidueye ex Start Deck rather than Obsidian Flames’ Japanese equivalent, Ruler of the Black Flame.
At first glance, Obsidian Flames appears to be just another Japanese starter deck; but upon further inquiry I learned otherwise! A special thanks must go out to Ross from PTCGRadio (an official Pokemon event caster!) who provided all this valuable insight – his knowledge on these eight starter decks alone could fill an encyclopedia!
Tomokazu Komiya stands out with some stunning art work on these cards – particularly with their adorable Rowlet! In terms of artwork, Rowlet stands out as being especially adorable; Tomokazu Komiya created him and also illustrated some beautiful Eevee and Snorlax GX promo cards during Sun and Moon era.
Obsidian Flames will introduce a brand-new darkness type Tera Charizard ex, marking its introduction as part of Scarlet and Violet era’s type-swapped monsters similar to what can be found in games. We should also expect fire type Eiscue ex and lightning type Tyranitar ex cards! These exciting variants should add depth to TCG meta game play for collectors!
But for now, let us celebrate this unveiling of Rowlet, Dartrix and Decidueye ex – players can look forward to getting their hands on these characters come August.
