Desert Oath, an official prequel to Origins, is certainly worth your consideration.
Ubisoft has built one of its most expansive worlds around Assassin’s Creed – from video games, to comic books, novels and even an original movie! – around this franchise known by Ubisoft. It not only spans video games but comic books, novels and an original film!
Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed series of comics and novels, however, is unrivaled; no matter which title readers pick up will gain greater insight into their favourite characters – either prologue or epilogue tale.
Oliver Bowden novels have always been among my favorites and one that stands out is Assassin’s Creed: The Secret Crusade which delves deeper into Altair and adds insight to his role during his war against the Templars. Additionally, this novel can be purchased cheaply on Amazon! If this novel doesn’t interest you yet, check it out today as its price won’t break the bank!
Another novel worth noting is Assassin’s Creed: Desert Oath, featuring Bayek from 2017 game Assassin’s Creed Origins as his protagonist in 70BC Assassin’s Creed Origins as prequel he embarks upon an important mission aimed at assassinating Medjay who protects Pharaoh Ramses II, one of the last members of ancient order and an influential member.
Desert Oath synopsis states: In peaceful Siwa, Bayek suddenly finds himself bereft after his town’s protector unexpectedly leaves, leaving behind unanswered questions and feeling as if there is some higher purpose to fulfil in his future life. Searching for answers along the Nile and throughout Egypt in its turmoil with all of its dangers and mysteries of Medjay’s path lies Bayek on his journey of discovery and search of answers for himself and those closest to him.”
As a reader of Assassin’s Creed: Desert Oath myself, I highly endorse its reading experience and purchase. You might find a second-hand copy on Amazon at an unbelievably discounted rate–at the time of this writing anyway!
Fans of the original 2007 Assassin’s Creed have fond memories of it and consider it an unforgettable experience.
Later this year, Assassin’s Creed Mirage will make its way out onto PCs, PlayStations and Xboxes on 12 October 2023 with stealth gameplay as its cornerstone feature.
