Skyrim modders have put forth tremendous effort into making sure it continues to progress and expand since being made available worldwide.

Many have tried to alter the game by adding unique characters, useful mechanics and fresh adventures; even going so far as giving your Dragonborn the option for an engaging brawl or earning Dibella’s blessing without breaking into temples directly.

Have you ever wanted Skyrim’s combat to be faster-paced and more exciting? If that is so, haven’t you found that an additional factor of excitement and intensity would add some spice?

Borgut1337’s Deadly Combat 2023 Edition mod has already given Serana access to Vampire Lord form and distributed tattoos across Skyrim as part of previous projects.

This time around, they decided to release another iteration of Deadly Combat mod which originally released back on OG version in 2012 before making its way onto Special Edition version in 2017.

Borgut1337 describes the 2023 edition as highly similar to previous editions in terms of features but fully optimized by taking advantage of many recent technical advancements (notably Skyrim Script Extender plugins ) within Skyrim Special Edition modding.

As such, they will still strive to enhance the game’s combat by increasing speed and emphasizing player skill against enemies; making combat more appealing for those looking for dynamic challenges than what vanilla provides.

Revamps made to this mod are intended to make its changes to enemy AI and blocking mechanics more seamless than before, including using Powerofthree and Sasnikol’s Spell Perk Item Distributor (SPID) to distribute scripts among NPCs more quickly, and adding an option for players to manage timed blocks with plugins for both.

If you want more control of what the mod does to match your individual tastes, MaskedRPGFan’s Deadly Combat 2023 Edition MCM add-on may also come in handy; its timed blocking option allows for further personalisation as it lets you toggle features like timed blocking on or off for either your character or NPCs.
