Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 developers have fixed its least popular multiplayer map
Modern Warfare 2’s map selection has long struggled to strike an emotional cord with players. Though Infinity Ward has produced some iconic battlefields over its 10-year existence, their recent offering seemingly missed their target.
As Season 4 Reloaded was just recently unveiled, players have recently been learning the ropes with MX Guardian shotgun and its various capabilities; and are taking note of any buffs or changes affecting its arsenal of weaponry.
As part of its long list of bug fixes in this update, developer Nexon revealed it has also improved one of the less popular maps to increase gameplay experience and experience.
Are the worst Modern Warfare 2 maps fixed? MichaelIncarnate took to Reddit recently in order to shed light on a change found within Season 4 Reloaded patch notes that may help Santa Sena Border Crossing.
Patch notes provided: “Vehicles in Santa Sena Border Crossing no longer explode, although they may still damage players but cannot kill.
Though there may be players that support this change, many community members feel like it has significantly worsened the map following it; one such person stated: “Oh come on… That was one thing I loved about your map!”
One player suggested an alternate solution that would keep all stationary vehicles from exploding on the map: raising car health points so it takes multiple explosive devices to blow one apart; shooting holes through door panels shouldn’t cause it to explode.”
Others have brought up potential consequences that this fix could create, with one player suggesting: “Now people will camp behind their cars.”
At present, Infinity Ward’s Border Crossing cars appear impregnable to damage.
