Some would cite one of the primary benefits of PC gaming as one of its many gifts from modding communities; we certainly agree.

Mods can be an incredible asset to gaming communities. Not only can modders give life back into our beloved titles with unique content and unlock, they may also remaster a title better than its actual developers themselves! Anyone familiar with OG Resident Evil 4 HD Project mod knows it works like magic; in some instances modders even help fix bugs and glitches on games otherwise abandoned by developers.

Cyberpunk 2077 may have been something of a disappointment at launch for last-gen console players; Sony even pulled it from their PS Store before returning it later with great fanfare. That being said, gamers had much better experiences with CD Projekt Red’s sci-fi RPG on PC than on console.

Cyberpunk 2077 on PC can only get better through community mods like anygoodname’s game-altering “Immersive NCPD Hotline” mod, which not only fixes cop AI in game but also allows you to pay corrupt law enforcement agents from Night City for whatever services you require them for. Thanks must go out to them!

The Immersive NCPD Hotline’ mod allows players to pay corrupt cops for protection from unjustified blame; such as being held liable if an accidental bullet kills any random citizen; as well as cover your crimes by paying. Personally, this kind of mod makes me jealous that I don’t play PC games! And now this wonderful addition can be downloaded via Nexusmods!

Cyberpunk 2077 has arrived for PC, PlayStation and Xbox, with Phantom Liberty set for release for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S on 26 September 2023.
