Play a new Harry Potter game for free now
Potter Fans, get ready – Warner Bros. Games is opening its doors for players to dive into the game completely free.
Harry Potter fanatics were disappointed by the absence of Quidditch, a broom sport. The version of the game tries to justify this by stating that it was due to an accident that occurred during the spring final. However, that didn’t make the situation any easier for those who were hoping to be able to practice their skills as a chaser, beater, or seeker at the School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
Now, players can finally take flight and play some good ol’ Quidditch. The competitive multiplayer Harry Potter : Quidditch Champions game was released earlier this year for consoles and PCs. Fans were initially invited to register for a limited number of free playtests. The first one opened in April. Now, Reddit users report that more people are being allowed to try the game.
VernaltheDynx shared an email from Reddit that said a playtest will take place in the next few days, between July 28th and 31st. If you have signed up, make sure you check your emails to ensure you do not miss it. Don’t get your hopes too high, as not everyone was selected.
Warner Bros is as you would expect. Games asked all participants to sign an NDA before they could participate, so we are unlikely to learn anything new about the game from the playtest.
