Ubisoft confirms Assassin’s Creed Mirage has an ideal length.
Ubisoft recently provided an estimate for how long it’ll take players to finish Assassin’s Creed Mirage and it thankfully is much shorter than prior releases.
Recently released Assassin’s Creed games have significantly expanded the scale and scope of their series with vast open worlds and neverending quests allowing you to spend plenty of time playing, particularly if you consider yourself to be an accomplished completionist.
While the initial RPG game in this franchise – Assassin’s Creed Origins – offered an expansive map, its successors (Assassin’s Creed Odyssey and Valhalla) became too expansive even for die-hard fans; many were therefore pleased to learn Assassin’s Creed Mirage would feature a much smaller map to explore.
With less side quests available to players in comparison with previous titles, many had wondered just how long it’ll take before beating this latest installment of the franchise.
Ubisoft recently addressed Assassin’s Creed Mirage’s length via YouTuber Julien Chieze who spoke to Fabian Salomon, lead producer for Assassin’s Creed Mirage. To provide some context on its length: Average play times range between 20-23 hours for completionists while people rushing their game can expect 20 hours+ playthrough times.”
That was far shorter than previous titles and we can thank it. Looking at HowLongToBeat times for Origins, Odyssey and Valhalla’s main stories respectively; that comes out to 30 hours, 45 hours and 60.5 hours (without taking into account additional content or DLC releases for these games).
With Assassin’s Creed Mirage offering to bring players back to its roots of close quarter stealth and combat, many may appreciate a game which won’t take weeks for completion.
On October 12th, Assassin’s Creed Mirage will launch for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC users.
