Starfield will arrive just over one month from now! Bethesda’s highly anticipated space epic will launch on 6 September with early access opening five days earlier on 31 August.

There’s so much excitement surrounding Starfield that awaits its release: Bethesda has teased an “astonishing” number of side quests – not surprising considering there will be over 1,000 planets with at least 10% harboring signs of life! Furthermore, developers have teased various factions and branching paths of gameplay as well as potential space samurai units or decorating your apartment possibilities which sounds exciting – as we countdown until launch day, pre-orders have skyrocketed into Steam’s top 10 best sellers! As we count down, pre-orders have skyrocketed into Steam’s top 10 best sellers list!

Head on over to Steam and take a look at UK top selling games: Starfield is currently sitting comfortably at seventh, after rising a whopping 17 places since launch day! It currently trails American Truck Simulator: Oklahoma Edition (ATS-Okla), Remnant II, American Truck Simulator itself (ATS), Counter Strike Global Offensive (CSGO), and Baldur’s Gate 3 as the list. I expect Starfield will overtake these titles by its release day!

Starfield currently sits eighth on the US charts and Apex Legends is peaking ahead. Internationally it comes 13th. Clearly not everyone in the UK is as enthusiastic about Starfield at this moment in time!

If you have early access to Starfield through purchasing one of its premium editions, using an age-old trick called timezone bamboozling could get access on August 31st – yes! For those waiting on Xbox Game Pass for it’s release – Starfield can already be preinstalled now!
